I was born and raised in Spain, where I received my bachelor’s degree in English Studies at the University of Valladolid.
I arrived in the U.S. in 2014 seeking an opportunity to extend my knowledge in Second Language Acquisition and Linguistics. I obtained my master’s degree in TESOL and Linguistics and my Certificate in University Teaching at West Virginia University in 2016.
In the summer on that same year, I decided to enroll in an online master’s degree in Secondary School Teaching, Vocational Training, and Language Teaching at Valencian International University (Spain) at the same time I started my Ph.D. program at the University of Arizona.
I obtained my Ph.D. in May 2022. My dissertation explored the interaction of syntax with prosody and discourse. I am currently working for Laveen School District.
